November 2025: Roland replaced the VAD507 with the new model: VAD516
The VAD507 delivers the commanding presence of a full acoustic drum set on stage—with the convenience and control of electronic drums. This premium five-piece kit features wood shells with full depth and diameter, covered with attractive wraps and mounted on double-braced chrome stands. Roland’s advanced digital sensor technology and dynamic TD-27 drum module provide the sound and response to match, with every stroke, ghost note, roll, and swell expressed in incredible detail.
The VAD507 features:
- Major software update to the TD27 module to give you more sounds, more drum kits, more effects, expanded processing options, and more
- Now includes the VH-14D hi-hat digital hi-hat for even greater expression (hi-hat stand pictured but not included)
- Thin 14″ and 16″ crash cymbals for an even more realistic cymbal feel and response
- 20″ KD-200-MS bass drum with custom chrome hardware and Midnight Sparkle wrap (kick pedal pictured but not included)
- Heavy-duty cymbal and tom stands inherited from the flagship VAD706
