- February 2017: I’ve had a couple of weeks to play and get to know the keyboard. I really enjoy the c-230! It is undoubtedly one of the finest instruments I have ever played. The tone is impressive. I mostly use the harpsichord setting and organ settings and I think they are fantastic. I was somewhat worried about the limitations of the instrument, I was actually torn between buying a Hammond Sk2 or Nord C2d, since with those you have access to the jazz organs and clavs, but since I am mostly a classical player, and because the c-230 is such a reasonable price I decided to jump on it. Boy am I glad I did, the organ and harpsichord tones are just amazing, they sound so real its incredible. I am currently learning a Froberger toccata, and working on some Bach. I also play a lot of Anglican-Chant settings on it. I could not be happier with the quality of this instrument, especially since I have constant access to it, when I am working on pieces that don’t require the use of pedals I don’t have to go up to the school to practice. - February 2017: I’m so impressed with this instrument, I’ve never been so awed by a machine as I am this one. It’s truly forward-thinking in an old music kind of way. - June 2016: We love our C-230 and in the year we’ve had it have used it several times as a celeste, as a harpsichord, and as an organ to support orchestral performances, most recently in the performance of Ravel’s famous Daphnis et Chloe.
