In working closely with hundreds of piano and drum teachers for the past 37 years, we know that having a quality instrument for your students to practice on at home sets a foundation for greater success and higher student retention.
To help you get more of your students on quality instruments, we have a two-part approach:
- Send your students to this special page on our website: www.capmusic.com/preferred/
- Rewards for you:
- 5% of the selling price of the piano or drum set
- $10 for each person referred to us that rents a piano or drum set from us. If the person ends up paying off their rental at some point, then the balance of the rewards will be calculated and issued based on the above.
- How to use your rewards:
- Apply rewards at 100% any time toward any merchandise we normally stock and sell (music books, pianos, drum sets, accessories, etc.)
- Cash out rewards at 75% value up to twice a year
- Details:
- We email you each time rewards are applied to your account.
- You do not need to track or bring anything in, our computer system tracks the rewards.
- Our salespeople are diligent at inquiring how customers hear about us, however, if you want to ensure that you get your rewards for referrals, please do any or all of the following: a) call ahead, b) remind them to tell us that you referred them, c) call us after they made a purchase; otherwise we must know of your referral within 30 days of the customer’s transaction.
- If a customer is referred by several sources, then the rewards will be split equally.
- Reward accounts inactive for 24 consecutive months are subject to termination and forfeiture of all unredeemed rewards.
- Rewards applied toward merchandise take the place of any discount on merchandise
- Capital Music Center reserves the right to alter, amend, or end this rewards program at any time.
- Effective August 1, 2025, this new teacher rewards program replaces any previous versions
