FAQ’s:
What are the differences between the TD313 and the TD316? There are only three:
- TD316 comes with a 2nd crash cymbal and arm to mount it (you could always add this to your TD313 down the road for about $300).
- TD316 replaces the fixed CY5 hi-hat pad and FD8 hi-hat control pedal with the VH10 floating hi-hat pad that can be mounted on your preferred standard acoustic hi-hat stand (HH stand required but not included). (You could always upgrade down the road to the VH-10 hi-hat pad for $453.99).
- The TD316 stand frame is wider at the back allowing: a) more space to spread out the drum set, especially beneficial for teens and adults; b) also allows a wider choice of where you place the kick pad, and lastly c) would accommodate an upgrade to a bigger kick drum pad such as the KD12 or KD18.
