Description
It’s not often that we come across a pre-owned Yamaha U1 this recent. This 2011 Yamaha U1 is a great opportunity for someone looking for a relatively newer U1 without the price of a brand-new piano.
Most importantly, this piano has a beautiful, rich tone and the responsive touch that has helped make the Yamaha U1 one of the world’s most popular professional-quality upright pianos. Our piano technician has inspected the interior and mechanical condition of the piano, and gave it the thumbs up.
Cosmetically, the cabinet does have some minor scratches and signs of normal use. We prefer to point these out rather than make a used piano seem perfect. They do not detract from what matters most: this is a relatively recent Yamaha U1 that sounds beautiful and has many years of musical life ahead of it.
If you’ve been searching for a used Yamaha U1, you may have noticed that most available examples are considerably older. Finding a 2011 U1 on the pre-owned market is unusual, and we think the combination of its age, condition, tone, and Yamaha build quality makes this one especially worth considering.
Come play it in our Austin showroom and hear it for yourself.
